Neeraja Aptikar is a compassionate Wellness Counselor dedicated to helping people heal, grow, and build meaningful lives. With over 12 years of counseling experience and more than 30 years of Buddhist practice, she offers a safe, confidential space for children, youth, adults, and seniors facing emotional challenges, life transitions, and stress.
Her professional journey began in scientific research, focusing on reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and HIV, and later teaching at the University of Pune. She also served as Team Leader at Vancouver Coastal Health (2002–2005), before moving into wellness counseling full time. Since then, Neeraja has worked with diverse communities at PICS Vancouver (2013–2017) and led independent workshops on youth addiction prevention and stress management for adults.
Believing that counseling is a necessity, not a luxury, Neeraja is committed to making her services affordable and accessible, especially for newcomers, immigrant women, international students, and low to moderate-income individuals.
